New to Grace Class
A Sunday School class to help you understand the theology and vision for Grace Gatineau. This class is a prerequisite for membership.
If you are new to Grace, you should take this class to help you get oriented to what our church teaches, how it operates, and what our goals are for our ministry in Gatineau. Even if you are not ready to consider membership, it is wise to know these details about any church you're attending sooner rather than later.
When: Promptly after the worship service for 20-25 minutes for the month of November.
Length of course: 5-6 weeks
A note for parents: if your children are at a point where they are professing faith in Christ, or showing interest, this course will have components with them in mind, and directions for how you can start walking them through that process at home. When you become members, they may be ready to join as 'communing members', which are all those in the church who have professed faith and have been admitted to the Lord's Supper by church leadership. If they are not yet ready, they will be received (and baptized if needed) as 'non-communing' members until such time as they can make a profession of faith and then be admitted to the table.
